Maryland High School Basketball - Calvert routs Lackey
January 31, 2011: Indian Head, MD 20640 In Monday's league outing, the Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), by a margin of 90-51.
The Cavaliers (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Westlake smashed La Plata (La Plata, MD), 72-38, in a league outing.
The Chargers now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Great Mills for a Southern Maryland outing on Wednesday, February 2. Lackey will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 40-37 league win over McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 6-10.
