February 17, 2014: Norwalk, CT 06851 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) and the visiting Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), saw Norwalk's basketball squad overcome Staples by a tally of 53-45.
With the victory, Norwalk improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Bears host Darien (Darien, CT) to confront the Blue Wave in a Fairfield County challenge on Wednesday, February 19. The Blue Wave come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Darien lost 57-30 in their recent league challenge against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT)
Next up, the Wreckers confront the Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Wednesday, February 19. Staples will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 54-34 league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT).
