November 12, 2011: Milford, IN Benton HomeSchool Bucks (Milford, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks/Angels (Fort Wayne, IN), 70-62 in a league bout.
With the win, Benton HomeSchool Bucks upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The travel to Trinity (South Bend, IN) to face the Titans in a Freelance game on Friday, November 18. The Titans enter the game with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, Fort Wayne HomeSchool moves to 1-3 on the year. The Hawks/angels host Kokomo HomeSchool (Kokomo, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, November 18. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-3. Kokomo HomeSchool lost 85-81 in their recent non-league game against Michiana HomeSchool Mustangs (Millersburg, IN)
Fourth Quarter
After it seemed that the game was lopsided toward the Bucks in the early going of the game, the Hawks staged an epic comeback throughout the 3rd and 4th quarters to tie the game. The Bucks were able to curb the Hawks momentum late in the 4th to hold them off.
