In Monday's non-league game, the host Placer Hillmen baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the River City Raiders.

The Hillmen (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA). The Mavericks go into the Pioneer Valley game with a 1-1 record.
