April 5, 2012: Ellijay, GA 30540 In Thursday's league challenge, the Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA) baseball squad triumphed over the host Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), by a final score of 8-2.

Gilmer High School lost 8-2 to Ringold Thursday at Ghs despite Austin White's three-hit day at the dish.
Weldon got the win for Ringold. He allowed two runs over seven innings. The Ringold pitcher struck out 10, walked one and surrendered six hits.
Ringold never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on an error and an RBI single by Mocanbee.
