October 8, 2010: Aiken, SC 29801 The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) football nudged the visiting White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC), 10-3 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Fighting Green Hornets face the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC) in a AAAA Region V bout, on Friday, October 15. Aiken will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Bruins enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 36-21 league win over South Aiken (Aiken, SC).
The Timberwolves (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Yellowjackets enter the AAAA Region V bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, North Augusta held off Lexington (Lexington, SC), 49-42, in a league bout.
