Ohio High School Basketball - Lockland overwhelmed by Fairfield
January 15, 2011: Fairfield, OH 45014 The Fairfield Indians basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Lockland Panthers to 41 in the Indians non-league victory on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton for a Greater Miami contest on Friday, January 21. Fairfield will meet a Big Blue team coming off a 54-51 non-league win over St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH). The Big Blue record now stands at 4-7.
The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Yellow Springs (Yellow Springs, OH). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Yellow Springs trounced Cedarville (Cedarville, OH), 53-46, in a non-league contest.
