In Friday's league battle, the host Indianapolis Cathedral Fighting Irish lacrosse team scored a close 16-13 win over the Bishop Chatard Trojans.

The Fighting Irish now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton Southeastern for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, May 3. Indianapolis Cathedral will face a Royals team coming off a 16-8 league win over Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN). The Royals record now stands at 7-3.
