Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting River Ridge Knights /Royal (New Port Richey, FL), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears host Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 15. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, River Ridge falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Knights /royal host Pasco (Dade City, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 16. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 0-2. Pasco lost 5-3 in their recent league battle against Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL)
