February 7, 2011: Florissant, MO 63031 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Hazelwood Central Hawks (Florissant, MO) and the visiting McCluer North Stars (Florissant, MO), saw Hazelwood Central's basketball squad knock off McCluer North by a score of 81-63.
With the victory, Hazelwood Central improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host DeSmet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. DeSmet Jesuit won 66-55 in their recent league challenge against St. Louis University (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Stars play the McCluer South-Berkeley Bulldogs (Ferguson, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 7. McCluer North will attempt to improve on its 20-2 season record.
