The Union Mine Diamondbacks football squad scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Sonora Wildcats to 14 in the Diamondbacks non-league victory on Friday.

The Diamondbacks now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marysville for a non-league battle on Friday, November 19. Union Mine will face a Indians squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Indians record now stands at 7-3.
