The North East Grape Pickers tipped the visiting Seneca Bobcats basketball team by a final score of 44-41 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Grape Pickers face the Iroquois Braves (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 game, on Tuesday, February 8. North East will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Braves enter the game with a 5-10 record after their 71-42 league loss to Fairview (Fairview, PA).

With the defeat, Seneca moves to 14-3 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Northwestern (Albion, PA) to meet the Wildcats in a District 10 Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 8. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 3-11.
