The Northwest Guilford Vikings thwarted the visiting High Point Central Bison football team by a count of 21-13 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Northwest Guilford upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a 4A Piedmont Triad outing on Friday, October 7. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 6-1. Ragsdale won 31-14 in their recent league outing against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC)

With the loss, High Point Central moves to 2-5 on the season. The Bison host Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC) to encounter the Mustangs in a 4A Piedmont Triad outing on Friday, October 7. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 3-3.
