Illinois High School Basketball - Zion-Benton fells Grayslake Central
February 13, 2013: Grayslake, IL 60030 Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Grayslake Central Rams (Grayslake, IL), 60-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Zion-Benton upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Zee-Bees travel to Walther Lutheran (Melrose Park, IL) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 16. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Walther Lutheran won 57-50 in their recent non-league bout against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL)
Next up, the Rams play the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) in a Fox Valley - Fox bout, on Friday, February 15. Grayslake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 8-16 record after their 60-52 league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, IL).
