Illinois High School Basketball - North-Grand falls to Taft
December 15, 2009: Chicago, IL 60631 The Taft Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting North-Grand Eagle Owls to 53 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Senn for a Chicago Public Red - North contest on Thursday, December 17. Taft will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-51 league loss to Lane (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
The Eagle Owls (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Lions enter the Chicago Public Red - North contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Park ran past Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL), 49-18, in a league contest.
