March 22, 2012: Charleston, WV 25311 The Capital Cougars baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Riverside Warriors to 4 in the Cougars league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds go into the Mountain State match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Parkersburg by Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV), 13-8, in a non-league bout.
Next, the Warriors face the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Friday, March 23. Riverside will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Timberwolves enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 5-2 league loss to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).
