The El Toro Chargers basketball team (Lake Forest, CA), was toppled 45-26 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting University Trojans (Irvine, CA)

The Trojans now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 27. University will battle a Patriots team coming off a 64-43 non-league win over Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-2.

The Chargers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Costa Mesa prevailed over Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA), 54-30, in a non-league battle.
