Match Summary
Clear Lake maintained their hold on first-place in the NCL-I as they dominated the first set vs. an injured and ill team of 8 visitors from Fort Bragg. Led by senior team captain Jaclyn Jordon in the middle, the visiting Lady 'Wolves fought back bravely throughout the second set, even leading 14-12, only to see the Cardinals' Jessica Asbury and Vanessa Tullos launch an unstoppable offensive barrage off of precise sets by Morgan Psalmonds. Down 22-18 in the second, Fort Bragg managed to claw back to within one, 21-22, before Clear Lake closed the door. The 3rd set was a clear route midway, 18-7 Cardinals, but the scrappy, never-say-die 'Wolves made it entertaining by sustaining rallies and gathering 15 points to make it respectably competitive.
