The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) and the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), observed Pittsburg's football squad thwart Freedom by a tally of 27-7.

The Pirates now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 29. Pittsburg will play a Falcons squad coming off a 54-8 non-league win over Antioch (Antioch, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-2.
