Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Central Tech succumbs to Cathedral Prep

January 4, 2013: Erie, PA 16508

The Cathedral Prep Ramblers topped the host Central Tech Falcons basketball team by a final score of 76-66 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Ramblers face the St. Francis Red Raiders (Athol Springs, NY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 8. Cathedral Prep will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Red Raiders enter the game with a 5-6 record after their 55-49 league loss to Niagara Catholic (Niagara Falls, NY).

With the defeat, Central Tech moves to 7-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to McDowell (Erie, PA) to face the Trojans in a District 10 Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 8. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 6-3. McDowell won 81-73 in their recent non-league game against General McLane (Edinboro, PA)
