South Carolina High School Basketball - Easley crushes Laurens
January 30, 2009: Laurens, SC 29360 Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC), 68-28 in a league game.
In their next game, the Green Wave face the Hanna Yellowjackets (Anderson, SC) in a AAAA Region I game, on Tuesday, February 3. Easley will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a 14-1 record after their 85-69 league win over Wren (Piedmont, SC).
With the defeat, Laurens moves to 4-13 on the year. The Raiders host Westside (Anderson, SC) to face the Rams in a AAAA Region I game on Tuesday, February 3. The Rams enter the game with a record of 10-6. Westside won 69-46 in their recent league game against Greenwood (Greenwood, SC)
