Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH), 69-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mentor upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 29. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 20-4.

Next up, the Battling Bees play the Parma Redmen (Parma, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 27. Medina will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
