The Mitchell Mustangs crushed the host Central Bears baseball team by a tally of 11-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wesley Chapel for a 4A District 7 bout on Friday, February 26. Mitchell will face a Wildcats team coming off a 7-0 league win over Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.

Next, the Bears face the West Port Wolf Pack (Ocala, FL) in a 5A District 7 bout, on Friday, February 26. Central will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to North Marion (Citra, FL).
