The Hoke County Bucks basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Richmond Raiders to 50 in the Bucks league victory on Friday.

The Bucks now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Lumberton for a 4A Southeastern contest on Tuesday, January 10. Hoke County will meet a Pirates team coming off a 66-47 league win over Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 9-5.

The Raiders (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Rams come into the 4A Southeastern contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Purnell Swett edged Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 58-50, in a league contest.
