New Mexico High School Basketball - Moriarty trounced by Grants
January 30, 2010: Grants, NM 87020 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Grants Pirates basketball team scored a decisive 92-63 triumph over the Moriarty Fighting Pintos.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the St. Pius Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 match, on Tuesday, February 2. Grants will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Sartans enter the match with a 6-11 record after their 57-36 non-league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM).
With the defeat, Moriarty moves to 4-14 on the year. The Fighting pintos host Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Chargers in a 4A District 5 match on Tuesday, February 2. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 14-7. Albuquerque Academy won 63-52 in their recent non-league match against Belen (Belen, NM)
