Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), 26-13 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lecanto improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers host Citrus (Inverness, FL) to confront the Hurricanes in a 6A District 5 test on Friday, September 21. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 2-1. Citrus won 49-27 in their recent non-league test against Belleview (Belleview, FL)

With the loss, Central moves to 1-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL) to confront the Sharks in a 6A District 6 test on Friday, September 21. The Sharks go into the test with a record of 1-2. Nature Coast Tech won 17-8 in their recent non-league test against Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL)
