The Pella Christian Eagles held off the visiting Grandview Park Baptist Defenders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newton for a Little Hawkeye test on Tuesday, September 28. Pella Christian will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-11.

The Defenders (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Roland-Story held off North Polk (Alleman, IA), 3-1, in a league test.
