Minnesota High School Basketball - Wayzata prevails Eagan
January 27, 2009: Plymouth, MN 55446 Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN), 76-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wayzata upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN) to encounter the Skippers in a Classic Lake bout on Friday, January 30. The Skippers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Minnetonka lost 93-77 in their recent non-league bout against Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN)
Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN) in a Lake bout, on Friday, January 30. Eagan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 59-50 league loss to Jefferson (Bloomington, MN).
