September 19, 2008: Newark, DE 19711 The Newark Yellowjackets topped the visiting Middletown Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.
The Yellowjackets now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilmington Charter for a Blue Hen Flight - A test on Tuesday, September 23. Newark will confront a team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The record now stands at 4-1.
The Cavaliers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Penn (New Castle, DE). The Colonials enter the Blue Hen Flight - A test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Penn dropped by DuPont (Wilmington, DE), 3-0, in a league test.
