The Metea Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting South Elgin Storm to 41 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neuqua Valley for a Upstate Eight contest on Thursday, December 8. Metea Valley will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 69-56 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.

The Storm (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against East (Aurora, IL). The Tomcats enter the Upstate Eight contest with a 3-3 record.
