The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) and the host Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA), observed Shamokin Area's football squad thwart Milton by a tally of 35-14.

The Indians now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Jersey Shore for a Heartland I contest on Friday, October 3. Shamokin Area will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 41-6 league win over Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
