Tulare Union Redskins (Tulare, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), 48-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tulare Union upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 11. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Mira Monte lost 45-31 in their recent non-league bout against Highland (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 12. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 35-32 non-league loss to Centennial (Bakersfield, CA).
