The Lincoln Fighting Zebras basketball team (Lincoln, CA), was nudged 64-60 in Thursday's league battle with the host Center Cougars (Antelope, CA)

The Cougars now sport a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Colfax for a Pioneer Valley battle on Tuesday, February 7. Center will meet a Falcons team coming off a 53-41 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-15.

The Fighting Zebras (12-12) will now prepare for their battle against Foothill (Sacramento, CA). The Mustangs come into the Pioneer Valley battle with a 21-3 record. In their last battle, Foothill edged Bear River (Grass Valley, CA), 61-53, in a league battle.
