September 16, 2006: Tenafly, NJ 07670 Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad crush the visiting Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ), 35-0 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Queen of Peace for a Bergen County - American challenge on Friday, September 22. Tenafly will clash with a Golden Griffins squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ). The Golden Griffins record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Rutherford moves to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Morrow (Englewood, NJ) to clash with the Maroon Raiders in a Bergen County - American challenge on Thursday, September 21.
