The Wakefield Wolverines tipped the host Millbrook Wildcats lacrosse squad by a score of 7-6 in Friday's league bout.

With the triumph, Wakefield upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Wolverines host Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, April 12. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Holly Springs won 8-0 in their recent league bout against Cary (Cary, NC)

With the defeat, Millbrook drops to 4-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to play the Crusaders in a Conference 3 bout on Tuesday, April 13. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Cardinal Gibbons won 17-1 in their recent league bout against Garner (Garner, NC)
