Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sierra Grande Panthers (Blanca, CO) and the host Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds (Mosca, CO), saw Sierra Grande's basketball squad hold off Sangre de Cristo by a score of 57-50.

With the victory, Sierra Grande improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Kim (Kim, CO) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Kim lost 84-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM)
