The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting East Columbus Gators to 47 in the Golden Tornadoes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lumberton for a non-league contest on Monday, December 8.

The Gators (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Stallions enter the Waccamaw contest with a 0-2 record.
