Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA), 69-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corona upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers host Poly (Riverside, CA) to encounter the Bears in a Big VIII bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Yucaipa Thunderbirds (Yucaipa, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 6. Citrus Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 72-58 non-league win over Desert Hot Springs (Desert Hot Springs, CA).
