September 9, 2005: East Syracuse, NY 13057 The East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans football team scored 38 points and held the visiting Oswego Bucs to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.
With the win, East Syracuse-Minoa improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, NY) to meet the Red Rams in a Section 3 Class A American game on Friday, September 16. The Red Rams enter the game with a record of 0-2. Jamesville-DeWitt lost 28-7 in their recent non-league game against Nottingham (Syracuse, NY)
The Bucs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Henninger (Syracuse, NY). The Black Knights enter the Section 3 Class AA 2 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Henninger was trounced by Vestal (Syracuse, NY), 28-20, in a non-league game.
