California High School Basketball - Crenshaw nips Capistrano Valley
December 29, 2011: Los Angeles, CA 90043 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA), saw Crenshaw's basketball squad hold off Capistrano Valley by a score of 47-43.
With the victory, Crenshaw improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Santiago (Corona, CA) to battle the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Santiago won 59-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Green Valley (Henderson, NV)
Next up, the Cougars battle the Vista del Lago Ravens (Moreno Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Capistrano Valley will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 71-70 non-league win over Sweetwater (National City, CA).
