In Saturday's non-league outing, the Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) basketball squad knocked off the host MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX), by a margin of 61-47.

The Lions (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX). The Friars go into the TAPPS 5A District 1 outing with a 14-1 record. In their last outing, Bishop Lynch topped St. Mark's (Dallas, TX), 67-50, in a non-league outing.
