January 17, 2014: Jacksonville, FL 32209 Melbourne Bulldogs (Melbourne, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Raines Vikings (Jacksonville, FL), 62-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Melbourne upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Parker (Jacksonville, FL) to confront the Braves in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Braves come into the battle with a record of 6-6. Parker lost 46-38 in their recent league battle against Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, FL)
The Vikings (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Deltona (Deltona, FL). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Deltona beat New Smyrna Beach (New Smyrna Beach, FL), 68-53, in a league battle.
