The Manvel Mavericks tipped the visiting Terry Rangers basketball team by a final score of 75-73 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mavericks face the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos (Missouri City, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 29. Manvel will attempt to move on its 19-3 season record. The Buffalos enter the game with a 17-4 record after their 72-49 non-league win over Clear Springs (League City, TX).

With the defeat, Terry moves to 13-8 on the year. The Rangers host Foster (Richmond, TX) to face the Falcon in a 4A Region III District 23 game on Friday, January 4. The Falcon enter the game with a record of 4-9. Foster won 64-53 in their recent non-league game against Deer Park (Deer Park, TX)
