Texas High School Basketball - Arlington holds off Haltom
December 27, 2013: Haltom City, TX 76137 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX) and the host Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), saw Arlington's basketball squad hold off Haltom by a tally of 50-45.
With the victory, Arlington improves its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Colts host Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 28. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Mansfield lost 56-42 in their recent league challenge against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Buffalos confront the Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Haltom will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 57-34 league win over Keller Central (Keller, TX).
