Louisville Wildcats (Louisville, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS), 9-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Louisville upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host South Panola (Batesville, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 25. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Rockets now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeast Lauderdale for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 1. Neshoba Central will play a Trojans squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
