Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), 59-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Tift County upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Coffee (Douglas, GA) to play the Trojans in a 1B-AAAAAA bout on Friday, January 11. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Coffee won 77-32 in their recent league bout against Camden County (Kingsland, GA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) in a 1B-AAAAAA bout, on Friday, January 11. Lowndes will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 86-57 league win over Colquitt County (Moultrie, GA).
