Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Farmington defeated by Hand
March 8, 2011: Madison, CT 06443 Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) fans left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Farmington Indians (Farmington, CT), 5-1 in a non-league match.
The Tigers (12-10) will now prepare for their match against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Rams enter the non-league match with a 13-6 record. In their last match, Cheshire by Hand (Madison, CT), 2-1, in a non-league match.
Game Summary
Farmington was over matched by a strong Hand High team and only an outstanding effort from their goalie, Kyle Chemente, kept them in the game for two periods. Chad Morin moved up to the second line offense to fill the void of an injured Tadas Jalinskas and notched the teams only goal on a hard shot from the top of the left face off circle beating the hand goalie over his shoulder.
