Mississippi High School Football - New Hope succumbs to West Lauderdale
October 6, 2006: Collinsville, MS 39325 West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), 50-21 in a league challenge.
The Knights now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Louisville for a 4A Region 4 contest on Friday, October 13. West Lauderdale will face a Wildcats team coming off a 35-9 league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
The Trojans now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Neshoba Central for a 4A Region 4 contest on Friday, October 13. New Hope will face a Rockets team coming off a 35-21 league loss to Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Rockets record now stands at 2-5.
