November 23, 2011: Plainfield, IL 60585 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL), by a count of 66-57.
The Bengals (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Thornton Fractional North was topped by North (St. Charles, IL), 59-46, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leyden for a West Suburban - Gold outing on Friday, January 13.
