Tennessee High School Basketball - Siegel can't hold off Northeast
November 29, 2014: Murfreesboro, TN 37129 The Northeast Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Siegel Stars to 57 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarksville for a AAA District 10 match on Tuesday, December 2. Northeast will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 49-48 non-league win over Gallatin (Gallatin, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Siegel moves to 3-2 on the year. The Stars travel to Independence (Thompson's Station, TN) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-2. Independence lost 65-51 in their recent non-league match against Sparkman (Harvest, AL)
